Dear Vallivue Families,

Please take a moment to read Vallivue School District’s latest update.

Academics

Your child’s education is still our highest priority. Teachers are available to provide academic support to your students via virtual conferences using your teacher’s Google Classroom. If you need help connecting for a virtual conference, please reach out to your teacher via email for support.

Summer School Reminder

Summer school will be online this year starting June 1st and ending on July 10th.

High School students needing credit recovery must complete and submit this Summer School Survey. It is very short and easy to submit. Once you submit the survey, your counselor will sign you up for summer school.

Middle school students will have until May 5th to submit late work that was not completed prior to March 17th in order to improve grades. After May 5th, middle school counselors will begin reaching out to families who have children needing summer school in order to promote to the next grade level. Students, please take advantage of this time to communicate with your teachers and bring your grades up!

Technology Reminders

Please remember that the Vallivue Technology Department is available to assist you with any issues you may be experiencing with applications or devices.  You can reach a technician Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM by calling 208-453-4600 or emailing [email protected].

Visit this document for details for signal strength at each school  location. Input the following access information for connectivity for personal devices:

Wireless Name: VSD-HotSpot

Password: homework

Vallivue devices will connect automatically to the parking lot WiFi so there is no need to connect to an access point and provide a password.

Report Cards

3rd quarter report cards for grades K-5 will be mailed home.

Return of Personal Belongings

The district’s goal is to allow students to retrieve personal belongings in early May. However, this goal is dependent on Governor Little’s latest plan for COVID-19 health efforts. We will continue to work towards returning items in a safe manner as soon as we receive the latest directives from health officials.

Sincerely,

Vallivue District Admin Team
